Instant Fit Mismeasurement Protection Service

The Instant Fit Mismeasurement Protection Service is designed to provide extra support and peace of mind when ordering made-to-measure shutters.

As part of this service, our team will contact you before your order is submitted to production to review and verify your measurements. We will require clear photos or short videos showing the glass width and glass height for each pane, following our measuring guide.

This verification allows us to sense-check measurements and catch any issues before production, helping to reduce delays or remakes caused by measurement errors.

This is not about questioning your measurements or ability or measure, it’s simply an extra layer of support for customers. Delays in receiving the required information may cause delays with delivery times. Please see terms and conditions below: 

  • The Instant Fit Insurance only applies to incorrect measurements. Replacement products will be made according to the same specifications as the original order, except for the relevant sizing issue. 
  • The Instant Fit Insurance does not cover remakes due to product incompatibility or unsuitability, including (but not limited to) the following. 1) Bead depth outside of 18–30mm. (The product is designed for use within this range only.) 2) Square or non-standard beading. (The product is not suitable for square bead designs.) 3) Insufficient clearance. (At least 25mm of clearance is required for proper installation. Orders with less than this clearance are not eligible).
  • If the new measurements result in a higher price than the original order, you will be charged the price difference. However, if the new measurements are priced lower than what you originally paid, no refund will be issued for the difference. 
  • Your new measurements must be at least 10mm narrower/wider or 10mm shorter/taller than your original order. 
  • If the new measurements are smaller than the original, we may, at our discretion, attempt to amend the item rather than creating a new one, where technically possible. 
  • The price used for the Instant Fit Insurance will be the one listed on our website when you placed your original order. We cannot honor any previous sale prices or apply discount codes to the Instant Fit Insurance. 
  • To activate the Instant Fit Insurance, the original order must be returned in its original packaging within 10 working days of claim approval and before the replacement item is shipped. If the packaging is damaged, we reserve the right to cancel the Instant Fit Insurance and halt production of your replacement items. If you’ve paid for the Instant Fit Insurance, no refunds will be issued. 
  • When activating the Instant Fit Insurance, you are responsible for any applicable delivery charges. A new delivery charge of £19.99 will apply for all replacement orders processed under the Instant Fit Insurance.
  • To activate the Instant Fit Insurance, you must notify us in writing via email with the correct measurements within 10 working days of receiving your original order. 
  • When activating the Instant Fit Insurance, you are responsible for any applicable delivery charges. 
  • The Instant Fit Insurance covers only one remake per item, provided it was selected at the time of purchase. Subsequent orders will not be eligible if the Instant Fit Insurance was not selected at the point of sale.
  • The Instant Fit Insurance may only be activated once per order. All claims must be submitted as part of a single insurance claim. You may not make multiple or staggered claims on the same order (for example, claiming for one shutter initially and requesting changes to additional shutters at a later date).
  • Insurance claims should be submitted after the full original order has been received. We strongly recommend checking and confirming all measurements across the entire order before activating the Instant Fit Insurance. 
  • If the item is out of stock when you place your Instant Fit Insurance order, we can either refund the Instant Fit Insurance payment or you may wait for the stock to arrive.
  • The original item will not be refunded.
